The CO² laser acts on water molecules and heats up the tissue, it burns and vaporises superficial lesions.  
It can scrap the lump or pigment on the skin surface.

Wart Removal
Warts are benign and usually painless growths on the skin but they are infectious.  
They can sometimes lead to pain, as is often the case with warts on the soles of the feet.  
Warts can be removed for cosmetic and medical reasons.  
CO2 Laser treatments can be used for warts found anywhere on the body.  
Laser treatment is less painful than other wart removal treatments.  
Only a single treatment is needed and there is minimal scarring.

Moles Removal
Moles are presented as pigment growths on skin.
Fair skin people tend to have more moles on their body, partly because they are more liable to sun damage.  
The benign moles and can be removed for cosmetic reason.  
Occasionally moles can turn cancers.   
When there is uncertainty regarding the nature, it should not be removed with a laser but rather it should be cut out whole and sent for laboratory examination.

A light reddish-brown mark may left after healing, but it will fade away gradually, in 1 - 3 months.
